Unreleased Neo Geo MVS Prototype Fighting Game Dumped and Preserved

Arcade preservation group The Video Game History Foundation has successfully dumped and preserved an uncatalogued Neo Geo MVS developmental prototype dated August 1995.

The board houses ceramic UV-erasable EPROMs containing an unreleased weapons-based fighter set in feudal Japan, powered by SNK's custom LSPC2-A2 sprite scaling hardware and Yamaha YM2610 stereo sound.

Curators confirmed the dump has been verified against MAME ROMsets and will be permanently archived in public emulation repositories.
