A fresh batch of Commodore 64 discoveries has emerged from disk collections examined by Nicol Walder. In September 2026, Walder compared the disks with missing-game records in GTW and other archives, turning up 11 titles.

Among the finds are three missing Orbyte Software games: French, Italian and Spanish. The search for Stack Light Rifle Games titles also produced Rats & Cats and an incomplete copy of Escape from Alcatraz.

Catalogue titles and an uncertain match

Walder also located Inferential Anne 1 and Inferential Anne 3. Neither currently appears to be available in GameBase64 or on the Micrograms page. Two more discoveries, Mind Prober and Poker Party, came from searches through the Dynacomp catalogue.

Not every recovered title matches the missing game it was originally sought for.

That caveat applies to Battaglia Navale. A copy has been found, but it does not seem to be the same missing game mentioned in the Zzap! Italia entry. Instead, it is a hack of Elite’s Battleships. The copy is being included for posterity regardless.

The relevant GTW pages will be updated with the discoveries where appropriate.

Watris: a BASIC Tetris-style game

One more title, Watris, does not currently seem to be present in the usual C64 archives. Thobias Rohde wrote this straightforward Tetris-style game in BASIC.

On its first run, Watris produces a SYNTAX ERROR IN 180. Pressing Return and then running the program again with RUN: gets the game going. It is a very simple production, but still worth preserving and documenting.

Even a modest BASIC game deserves a place in the record of C64 software.

Many thanks to Nicol Walder for searching through the disk collections and bringing these games to light.
